Next Saturday - stating the bleeding obvious!

Post by barrowfan » Sat Apr 18, 2015 7:47 pm

The way I see it is:

If we win its all over and we are champs

If we lose Fylde have to win

If we draw Fylde have to win

Or put another way

If Fylde win we have to win

If Fylde lose or draw we are champions.

The name of this thread needs changing to stating the bleeding obvious :-)

I've given your post some thought (about 2.5 nano seconds) and i think you are possibly correct, or maybe I'm stating the obvious
We're all supporters on here. Let's leave the negative comments to the away fans

It's absolutely crucial that we win next week. Gloucester are in form but I can't see them stopping Fylde. I don't think Lowestoft is as daunting as people are fearing, they appear to be draw specialists so lets get behind them, take our chances and hopefully celebrate being champions.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Assuming you are referring to my probability estimates in another thread, I wasn't going to bother as, well, it's pretty bleeding obvious now.

Latest title odds:

Bookies are basically saying there's around a 75% chance of us winning the league :)

Well if you insist... I make us about a 64% chance, Fylde a 36% chance. This is based purely on our away and Fylde's home W/D/L records over the whole season and takes no account of recent form nor of opposition strength (or motivation level).

We have to win. Don't worry about Fylde, they will win again. It's upto us to show how big our balls are

Yours might be, John. In which case, I'd get down to your GP and get him to prescribe you about a gazillion milligrams of Naproxen. ;)
