FA vase winners 2001 and Swindon Town away in the FA cup in 81/82 season.
Both these games bigger than this game against Barrow FC

In Paul Cox, Barrow have the best manager outside of the football league.
He certainly won't underestimate your team Tommy.

Judging by the attention their win seems to be bringing it wouldn't be a surprise if this was all-ticket and if so I wonder what allocation we'd get - their ground holds 2500 and they got 1282 in the last round plus I reckon we'd take around 200?
Wouldn't have thought TV would be interested in this though.

This could be one of the Sunday games given the lowly league Taunton are in and the potential for a shock. No chance of TV but it could be moved to the Sunday.

Capacity is 2500 so we'd get at least 250 tickets. Only one set of turnstyles apparently which may cause issues re: segregation.

From the FA Rules

DISTRIBUTION OF TICKETS
(a) In all matches preceding the Semi-Finals, the Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up to 15% of all accommodation for which tickets are issued providing these tickets are in a fully segregated area, and subject to the following regulations:
(i) The request for tickets shall be made within two days of the draw.
(ii) The tickets allotted to the Visiting Club, if numbered and reserved, must be of equal value to those retained by the Home Club.
(iii) In cases of replays, the Club playing away in the replay must make a request for tickets prior to the original match in order to ensure that the replay tickets are in the possession of the club playing away in the replay at the latest immediately on conclusion of the original match.
(iv) The Visiting Club shall be responsible for the payment of all tickets asked for and allotted, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs in writing with a copy sent to The Association. All questions in dispute shall immediately be referred to The Association.
(v) The Visiting Club should settle with the Home Club for sales of tickets on or before the day of the match.
(vi) Any tickets not sold by the Visiting Club should be returned to the Home Club with their statement of tickets sales.
(vii) In the Competition Proper, a Visiting Club shall be entitled to one third of the seats usually reserved and known as “Home and Visiting Directors’ Seats” up to a
maximum of 24 seats.
(viii) Where disabled facilities are provided, a Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up to 15% of this accommodation.
(ix) Where it is deemed desirable, the Professional Game Board shall have the right to vary the allocation of tickets to the Visiting Club, or require a match to be made all ticket.

Looking at the interest id say 200 to 250 possible. Please not a Sunday. Busy month comung up.

Taunton play in the same league as North Leigh who were thumped at Eastleigh in the FA Cup on Saturday. Taunton played North Leigh at home last month and drew 2-2. We play Eastleigh at home the week before we play Taunton - a positive result against Eastleigh should give us plenty of confidence for the cup game - and I think Cox seams quite good at preparing the team for what they'll face - Taunton are low down in the league - but have games in hand and have knocked out 2 Conference South sides already - so won't be underestimated.... we should win by 3 or 4 - but i'd settle for a scrappy game and a 1-0 or 2-1 win if it means we get to round 2

There's no escaping the fact that there are only three teams left in the competition at step 8 or lower - Stamford, Taunton and Westfields. So from that view alone, we have about as easy a tie as possible. Equally, Stamford did just put out Wrexham, so it can be done! I'd have been much more worried under Edmondson about this though than with our current manager and squad - we're very professional, and playing well. Feel a bit sorry for Taunton too - I'm sure there are many opponents that they'd have rather had before Barrow!
