A big blow. Despite what certain posters might think, he's a decent 'keeper; best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Only if we don't replace him who's to say the one we sign as cover won't be better?

Anyway get well soon Dixon.

Hope we don't rush and get a panic replacement, be plenty of good keepers available on loan
Real shame for the lad

A tragedy for Joel, terrible luck for the lad. He has come on a lot during the season and was a great future prospect. Hopefully, it will be only an interruption to a successful career.

Gutted for the lad, he's come on leaps and bounds since he joined the club and hopefully this won't dent his confident when he returns

Tragic news! He's young enough to come back from this. All the best Joel!

good keeper with plenty of potential, we might have seen his last game for barrow as I think his contract is up at end of season.

Good luck with your recovery Joel, and don't let the [SwearFilter] get you down, hopefully see you around the ground in the coming months

Foressts' under-21 keeper Tim Erlandsson could be an interesting loan move. Capped by Sweden at under-19 and a member of the national squad at the Rio Olympics. Tried to link a you tube vid featuring Ryan Yates and him but it won't let me copy. Don't think he's in the first team squad yet.
