Just read on twitter that Cox is 2nd favourite for the Notts County job, with him being a Nottingham boy would he be tempted?

I can't see PC letting him go, it's the best chance we've ever had to return to the 4th division.

He has 2 and half years left on his contract - and they have had loads of managers in the last few years

If Cox wants to leave Paul Casson can't stop him.
Whether or not Paul Cox would want to leave is a different question.

Wasn't Edmo linked to the same position?

Think it was Ashley Hoskins.

Incorrect,if Casson wants to keep Cox he can its called a contract, it protects both parties.

Contracts mean nothing in football and it's self-defeating to keep any player or manager who wants to go. Whether Notts County will offer the job to Paul Cox is another matter but, if they do, then I'll be very surprised if he doesn't take it. The reality of football nowadays if either a player or a manager is offered more money and/or a higher level of football then 99.9% of them will take it.

The money better be good, he's only moving up about 8 places in the pyramid to a struggling side. Grass ain't much greener over there
