The Evening Mail is renowned for publishing the same picture time and time again when writing about a person of note.

Might I suggest that they ditch the one all over last night's back page heralding the permanent appointment of Barrow manager Micky Moore.

It showed him holding a football with AFC Fylde emblazoned on it!

I know The Evening Mail is generally shite, but does it really matter. I've seen hundreds of photos of new players/managers in older club colours/contexts. Who cares??

Two people obviously do....

There are more important things in life to worry about than what Micky Moore has slapped across his balls....

Hardly the howler of the century. Some people love a good groan.

As a football fan you have the right to take any sort of umbrage when it comes to your team colours. This has annoyed me also. Is it a big deal probably not. Does it show the mail don't really care about the club? Probably!
but that is also old news.

Some of the photos on the website aren't up to date and as it's been brought up I might as well explain why. :D

At the moment we aren't able to change all photos on the site as and when we want to, due to the way it was designed several years ago.

Our new website will give us a lot more scope for changing images etc on the site, as and when we need to, meaning it will be a lot more up to date and relevant.

We do what we can to keep it up to date now and having been through the whole site, none of the links behind any of the old photos should lead to anything.

If anyone spots something I might have missed, or indeed has any suggestions for what they would like to see on the new site feel free to PM me! :scarf:

We must be the only business on the web which can't change its own site - we are absolutely tin pot like.

It isn't ideal bigmac, but we have addressed it with the new site and I'm confident it will be a massive improvement on the current one.

This certainly wasn't a dig at you, I think the work you've been doing on the social media side of the club and the newsletter is one of the few really bright spots the club has at the moment - especially the social media stuff.

On the point of the website, I am pleased the club has recognised this and implemented a solution - there is little else you can do - I still however think my point stands regarding whoever created the current site.

Hopefully the new site can open up some new avenues.
