I see one of our more consistent performers this season, Dan Jones has made the England C squad. Hopefully by November we will have enough cover so he wont be missed too much if he makes the final cut.

Probably get some stick for saying this, but I think he is a better footballer than Anderton

Stop it. There can't possibly be something better since last year. It's simply not allowed. I liked Anderton but Jones is a good footballer.

Both very similar - Anderton was a little better at getting up and down the line, but Jones has a better shot on him and an eye for a finish. Both played slightly different roles, with Jones not having a winger ahead of him.

Both a bit suspect at the defending part of their job at times too.

Anderton had Williams in front of him.
Jones is technically superior with a huge long throw too. He doesn't lunge in and get sent off either. Overall a better signing
