As a Wrexham fan who has never visited Barrow before came excited to visit a new place and see a new football ground. Before kick off a group of about 15 barrow lads came over taunting us singing chants of 'scotties in a box' scotties dead, wheres scotty now.. it goes on.. Disgusting behaviour with no place in football yet other barrow fans observed this and did nothing to stop them.. Later on in the game one of your players attempts to gauge Pearson's eye, no place for this in a football game and he should be banned. Yet again barrow fans prove their ignorance by booing Shaun off the pitch, then i read comments on here such as 'im glad hes injured' 'hope hes out for the rest of the season'.. what a horrible bunch you lot are seriously up there with the chester.. hope we give you the thrashing you deserve new years day...UTST

Pearson cheated all through the game. Where is the proof his eye was gouged rather than a stray finger, haven't seen any apart from your bitter manager saying it

You should be in the league of Wales anyway not interfering with the English leagues.

I can only apologise on behalf of Barrow Football Club for such disgusting chants and the way your fans were disrespected. It isn’t on and I for one am ashamed.
It is a minority that sadly seem to get away with such behaviour.

Absolute fair point regarding the flag incident, totally out of order and a disgusting thing to do. After a few months of not seeing much of these young lads they reappear for a bigger game - again, and spoil it for away fans such as yourself and yet again give the vast majority of Barrow fans a bad name.
Regarding Barrow supporters not stepping in, I suppose that all depends on the persons confidence in these situations. I happen to know a couple of the Barrow supporters who witnessed it, one a middle aged man with a woman & two young children....what did you think they could've/should've done? A recent pre-season friendly saw quite a large amount of Barrow supporters step in when they'd had enough of these idiots giving us all a bad name, so it does happen.
I suppose you have to remember, all clubs will have a small minority who are determined on causing trouble, it wasn't too long ago some Wrexham supporters tried to steal money off a programme or 50/50 ticket seller in the away end (in your words) "no place for that in football" A few years back myself and a group of friends were being followed from a pub to your ground by a large group of Wrexham supporters doing everything they could to provoke a reaction. Idiots at all clubs. In your words (again) "no place for that in football"

Pearson - I have only seen one comment about "hoping he's out for the season"

And when it comes to players, I think most of yours tried every trick in the book to get a Barrow player booked/sent off, so in your words (again) "no place for that in football" not helped by a ref who was weak as [SwearFilter] and let them get away with it. And lets not dwell too long on the incident in the first half where one of your players flew into a "tackle" totally out of control which, if the Barrow player hadn't been quick enough to get out of the way of could easily have broken a leg or ankle. Once again "no place for that in football"

Don't think the Shaun Pearson eye incident was deliberate, two players jumping for the ball and one was caught accidently in the face by a stray finger, it happens but oh no Wrexham choose to make a complete meal of it!!

The stage is set for a great game at The Racecourse on New Years Day, time to let the football do the talking.

Remember quite a few seasons back, me and my mates were hounded by Wrexham 'fans' after the game at Wrexham. a group of about 15 of you. Luckily we make it to the train station and our train to Manchester was on the platform. Didn't see anyone step in to protect us.

Also, Pearson is a disgrace to football. And your manager is a disgrace by adding fuel to a fire that isn't there. The incident was a coming together of Pearson and one of our players (can't remember who) .. they were both mid air so if he got caught in the eye, there is no way our player did that deliberately .. to say 'gauged' means a deliberate calculated action but the incident happened in a flash. We don't have players who go out to deliberately injure the opposition.

I wouldn't be surprised if we go down to 10 men on sat as it's obvious what your managers game plan is, which will be to intimidate the referee in to giving strong decisions in your favour.

I agree these kids are totally out of order and should be banned .
As for the man you call Pearson what a cheat that guy Is I've never in all my life seen a player pull shirts kick foul and mouth off as much as he did.
Maybe a barrow player thought enough is enough as any human being would I'm sorry but he needs to man up if he plays that style .

I see you make no mention of the fact the referee let your players constantly pulling, holding, and everything they could do to stop Barrow while a corner was being taken 3 times, what he should have done is awarded a penalty on the second occasion and booked the offender, if you noticed when you had a corner there was no such problem.

How many times did the referee have a word with Wrexham players before corners about pushing and pulling then actually do nothing about it with Pearson by far the worst offender

Wonder what the assessors feebback to the officials was.. Let's see if he's officiating in the National league or lower level next week?

If Pearson was injured then why did the physio and Manager allow him back on the pitch only for him to go down after 10 seconds. Blatant time wasting and manager not looking after his player.
