Slightly disconcerting is the quality of our signings to compete in the National League.

Didn't we know that was the sort of signing we could expect after reading the big statement - young (ish) and hungry. These two look like a couple of goalscorers. It remains to be seen whether they can step up and cope with National league defenders.

Anyway, anyone called Mulholland will do for me ;)

To be fair the likes of Bennett & Williams came from nowhere and look how they turned out 👍 I'm sure they can't all be as bad as a certain player who came from witton last summer 🙄
Just my opinion

Raiding the glue leagues here.

Take the point you can find gems in the lower leagues but these two arent particularly young are they.

To think people were ruling out signing Jason Walker and Andy Burns cos they were from the league below...

30 years old and 11 goals in 95 appearances at FC United. Guess someone must have seen something in him!!

I wouldn't class 30 as young and hungry especially when they have no experience of this level.

They brag about him scoring loads for Flixton

11 goals in 95 games for FCUM at a lower level hardly screams young hungry gem

We will need players with league and conf experience and the squad will be about 20 + strong at the start of the season so give them all a chance in pre season despite their age and their club history and if they aren't good enough they'll be there to make up the numbers or go out on loan - as long as they give their all for the club I'll be happy.

Plus they can't be as bad as Bauress, white or harry the pan

It’s not going to be pretty, but it’ll be no worse than watching some of that shower we had last season.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

It's going to be a baptism of fire.
No one of experience or quality yet.
We need some proven signings similar to Danny Livesey in defence.
Next signings need to be a proven Midfielder,Winger and Forward.
Anyone would think we want to be in the bottom four

Yep. Welcome on board lads. A massive step up
Yes we have to cut our cloth accordingly but we have to compete in this league or people won't pay £18 to watch.
We don't compete, fans don't go, we cut the budget.
If these lads are hungry and give 100% in a Barrow shirt that will do for me.
What I don't like are players who go through the motions and earn a shit load of money doing it.
I can name a few of them.....
