As Nick says, a well earned, fully deserved call up, he’s been very consistent this season. It wouldn’t have been a surprise to see a few others in the England C squad as well.

Josh Kay has been included in a 10man contingency squad incase of any injuries to the main 16

Guess its a double edged selection, you want the players at the club to get the recognition for the excellent performances this season,but you run the risk of them being injured in what is fundamentally a pointless game.If any player should be selected it should be Taylor, he’s one of the best midfielders at this level.

He has looked good in the last 2 games back in a back 4 as well

All credit to IE for insisting he was a central defender when many, including me, were unconvinced after some of his early performances.
