If he goes...I would put his assistant in charge. I would spend as little as possible until the summer and start again from there.

Would probably be a blessing in disguise being able to save some much needed money.

What?? a blessing in disguise to lose a manager who is just starting to get to grips in his first season. I hope he stays as think he can do things here next season and beyond. He knows what we need to do and we are not far off. The board will back him 100%

I don't think he'll go, but if he did contracted assistant Atherton would be our new manager.

Can anyone blame him if he goes? The crowds this season are pathetic . This town shoould be ashamed of itself.

Yeah - less than 1000 home supporters last night. Hope the new Commercial Manager can bring in some much needed support in the way of sponsorship and other initiatives.

Any news who the new Commercial Manager is ?
IE done very well with what he has had to work with, so this situation was always going rise, just when. If he doesn't take this role and he continues his progress with the team other clubs will come head hunting....that's life.

Disaster if he leaves
He will way his options up
If Rochdale offer him a decent budget he will be off like a shot plus it's another higher league club in his CV.
He will also base his decision on the availability of a realistic budget and if he sees a future with new consortium
The dealings with Andrew Casson will not have helped.
Rochdale did take Vic Halom off us and he never lasted long rhere, the grass is not always greener

Quite sad to think that we have an excellent club playing excellent football with pride and passion and still the last call folk can't be arsed!!
Apart from literally dragging folk in off the streets, I've no idea how the club/commercial manager can convince folk to come along?
Brought some Australian friends last night and they absolutely loved the whole experience and were very very surprised at the level of football being played and even thought the facilities were pretty good too

Deffo on board now and dragged away from TV football

He would have done, if Tommy Cannon hadn't insisted he sell all his best players to reduce the wage bill back in 1986.

Don’t mean to be a pedantic correspondent, but presuming you mean “weigh it up”.
Once again you can’t resist having some sort of pop at the long gone Cassons.
I’m surprised at myself by how irritated I get when you persist in referring to them.

I was referring to the fact that someone said that Ian Evatt would probably have left if the Consortium had not took the club over as money was owed by AC to the player's.
They did promise us a Porsche but left in a Trabant
Major achievement ,knocking the toilet block down on Popular Side and bringing in Darren Brown to Forum 321 back in the real world
I know some on here would like to forget how they thought they were the Messiahs,it's not Laos and as much as you want to go back to hear Zero there antics is a part of history.
The cynical move in waiting to see if we had a run in the FA cup and when we got knocked out did a runner.
