Hartlepool fans were very upset when the club made him redundant due to covid cutbacks.

There has been a tremendously positive response to Tweets announcing his appointment from people who appear to know him or his work. A good sign.

Makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes? Not a good sign when non-footballing employees of a club are constantly rushing for the exit.

North east based and travelling to Barrow and Manchester cannot have been easy. Maybe he has had a better offer closer to home?. He is very good at his job so I wouldn't have thought he would be short of offers. Good people get headhunted.

Disappointed to hear he's no longer at the club, not everyone's cup of tea but I thought he was often the only bit of joviality at some pretty despairing times last season. Thanks Mark and good luck for the future

Footballers leave, it's all about the money. Backroom staff leave, it's all about - unspecified - problems behind the scenes.

Looking like another good cost cutting exercise to me.
Plenty of info regarding signings/sponsorship opportunities still coming out of club.
Can't see any change unless he is serving his notice and still with us.

Why does it have to be doom and gloom all the time, If he's left so be it, doubt it's because we can save money or paul hornby hasn't made him a cup of tea.

Did he do a good job, no idea? Social media content OK, players balancing tennis balls on their cocks or whatever it was. A match day programme which is terrible its a 10 min read hardly any pages and half of the pages adverts.
