Let's see what he can do.

Got a lot of league experience, the odd yellow card but goals scored around 7 in last 7 seasons and not many assists so I'll leave judgement until after ive seen him play.

Welcome fella, The here & now is what’s important, Not what you did yesteryear etc.

Short term deal is basically telling you to prove your worth this season, So play you’re heart out & prove that in 2020/21 your worth a season long deal or be underwhelming & be on your way.

We need to steady our ship & hopefully be mid to lower mid table as we adjust to this level then kick on again.

Am I right in thinking that we've seen Chris Taylor at HS beforehand a few years ago around the time he was with Oldham either on loan for a short period or possible in preseason? Perhaps when John Sheridan was at the Latics which would suggest this would've been during the Daz and Dave era?

A wealth of league experience and yet being slated before he has kicked a ball. I don't quite get how we are entrenched in negativity after half a dozen games and two poor halves of football. I would, like most, like to see another striker though.

It might not be a bad short term acquisition but only if Taylor hasn't lost much of his pace. I'd guess his role will be essentially to help activate the link between defence and attack. He's had a very decent L1/L2 career and will bring experience. He might also take some weight off Hardcastle's shoulders and allow Quigley to spend more time up front and less time with his back to the goal picking the ball up in midfield.

As I say it all depends on his fitness and pace at 33. I wouldn't trash this signing however simply because of his age.

So if Quigley gets banned or injured we are basically [SwearFilter], we can’t score with what we have now so desperate for a striker. There’s some excellent strikers in the National league , go and get one and give him the chance to play league football,our forward options is absolutely pathetic. Was Dunne a forward or what, clueless!!
