Just got a feeling we are going to have to score more than once to get anything out of this game!
Score 2-2

Mersey Maggots 3 -1 Barrow.
Tranmere Forum..........
Last game against us We drew 1-1 away. Vaughan goal cancelled out by a Quigley penalty after a Sid Nelson foul on him. Barrow had Biggins –who tried to con the referee - sent off.
Type of team: Another small-town team like FGR that has has had a multi-millionaire backer. You can see how they were successful in the National League – pace and power, led by #9 Scott Quigley who also scored against us when he was on loan from Blackpool to Wrexham, and their dangerous left wing back #3Brough. 3rd from bottom but effectively safe (8 pts clear with 3 games left).

I’m sure our board would absolutely love to be multi millionaires

Think the word was "has had a multi- millionaire backer" ,Paul Casson saved us but thats the problem he was not a multi millionaire.
Words anywhere are cheap ,reminds me of the time I got my divorce and was told I've never cost you a penny to which I retorted its like going to a restaurant you get the bill when you leave!
Let's get that win today and can start planning for next season.

Chatting to my Tranmere supporting mate and he has little confidence in them even scoring. No recognised striker since Vaughan got injured and have only beat Bradford via an own goal in the last few games. If we set up for a draw we just might get the point we need. If we play like we can (Cheltenham, Exeter etc.) we can get all three points and sink a few tonight toasting safety.
Come on boys!!

Think we could scrape a shock 2-1 win. Goals courtesy of two spectacular and later controversial own goals by Kahn and Macdonald as a belated thank you to the club that introduced them to 'grown-up' football.
