if we have Devitt, Kay fit does Kelly change formation?
we are presently set up with wingbacks but if we don't play further up the pitch they become 5 defenders then we're inviting pressure this is ok against average team's but against promotion chasers it's a risky format, it worked at first but now team's have sussed this out.
The trouble is players who've been out are not match fit so it will be a gamble but what else can we do ?

i would play both of them and probably give andrews a run upfront alongside quigs. only 3 games left , the players can have a rest after that, no need to rest players now

Yeah I don't get the resting crack or not up to full fitness. This isn't a marathon anymore it's a final sprint. Get players to bust a gut.
We need Davies back and I'd probably get devitt in to try and keep hold of the ball more.

From what I gather FGR were very good at Crawley on Saturday and should have won. Very attack minded team so its going to be very very difficult for us to get anything. And of course a win for them cements a place in the play offs. So how should we play it guys? I presume they will press us from the start - there will be a lot of pressure on us.

I seriously think we should get our shape right, like we had in the first half vs Tranmere. We only need a point in this one. I would also play Calvin Andrew (or at least try and give him as many minutes as he can manage) and play percentage football, get him and Quigs to just be a pain in the a*se for their defenders. Won't be pretty and will be tense. Big game needed from all

Davies makes a massive difference when he is fit; if he’d been able to play every game I think we’d already be safe. I’d also have Devitt starting when he’s fit, don’t need all 3 central midfielders to be defensive ones

I think we set upto frustrate and we did that.
We then saw the signs of poor marking and the really good save from Joel when their player had a free header.
I would go with same team except maybe drop Barry and bring Kay on for him.
Keep it at goaless till half time then bring Devitt Andrew and sea on .
We go all out attack we will get thumped.

Will go to frustrate them for 90 minutes and snatch a draw.
However will go one down after 60 minutes, bring on Andrew and Devitt late on and lose 1-0

A point would mean Southend couldn’t finish above us unless they over turned a 23 goal swing
It would also mean Grimsby couldn’t drop a point in their remaining 3 games (again unless they were to overturn a 22 goal swing)
It would also move us above Colchester on goal difference and possibly Scunthorpe too (depending on their result on Tuesday)
