MISSING LAPTOP

Hello Folks,
The Tuesday night win at Scunthorpe was somewhat spoiled by not finding my laptop in my bag on leaving the bus. I have contacted the bus company, and the bluebirds trust have contacted all the passengers on the bus but so far no news. I have been advised by the trust to make an appeal on this forum for everyone to check carefully they don't have the laptop. I am not making any judgements and if someone has taken it by mistake that is not a problem. I only want it back as it was an expensive item. I will need to report it to the police Monday morning. So if the 64 of your could have last look to recover it before then that would be great. You can pm me or you can hand it into the trust shop on match day or contact Steve Herbert. Thank you

Well done to the person who returned the laptop 20 minutes after benny posting about it the thought of the police being involved must of reminded them they had it

Better outcome than my coat on the Hartlepool bus, gone forever. Nice bit of honesty with the laptop

In all the years I travelled to away matches I never heard of anything going missing.
We did once have Thames Valley Police search through our bags on the coach whilst we were in the match though. Don't know how legal that was without our knowledge or presence.!
It is such a shame if you can't leave your belongings and put your trust in fellow supporters and travellers.
Mistakes do happen especially when inebriated but a post on here would soon reunite the owner with their belongings.
Let's see if Mark can have his coat returned.

That’s a great bit of news. I also share a similar tale of bluebirds kindness! Thankfully my jacket was returned at the Burton Albion play off final. It had been tied around my waste and must of fallen off (unbeknown to me) during the pitch celebrations. Thankfully a girl had picked it up, recognised it was mine and returned. We’re a honest bunch

To be fair to the guy that found it, as we were approaching ramsden square, he was holding the laptop in the air, asking if anyone new who’s it was.

Well yes we did but as the local constabulary were kindly looking after you we knew you were in good hands. They made sure you were safe until Lancaster Branch collected you and gave you bed and breakfast so all was well that ended well.
Any other tales you wish to reveal---there are many.
They are all coming back to me now.

Very cynical remark and not fair to the honest person who returned it and was waving it around on the bus at Ramsden Square asking who it belonged to.

Perhaps in future any property lost or found could be listed on a thread on here.

I remember watching Ayr play Peterhead on the supporters minibus about 20-25 years ago, before the days of mobile phones. About five miles out of town after the game one of our supporters realised something was missing but couldn't quite figure out what. He'd obviously had a few beers and the rest of us had too, so obviously we weren't much help to him.
He finally remembered. His wife.
We turned round and collected her
