Surprised at this announcement but as usual will get my full support.

Wasn’t he manager of Southend last season when they got relegated?

Between him and McDonald they should get us the 6-8 points we need to be safe - then i'm guessing the process starts again as he's only been named as interim manager.

Make sense; done a great job with Southend this season

yes - but they were already as good as down when he came in.

They were more doomed than us, with 6 games to go. I believe he got 2 wins and 3 draws from those games, but it wasn't enough.

Well our board are more clueless (or desperate) than I could ever have imagined.

if he gets 2 wins and 3 draws from 9 games he'll keep us up

I this reverse psychology? Everyone thought Cooper would be a good signing and proved a bad one. Now people think this is a bad one could it turn out to be a good one!!!!

Obviously had this set up for some time.
