Oi oi, you won't believe what's coming up, mate! It's the Party on the Pitch at Barra Soccer, and the lineup is a proper belter. We're talkin' Nathan Dawe, Tynchy Stryder, Toploader, PixelKid, and even this bloke Dan Connelly, who I ain't heard of but he must be good if he's on the bill!

Let me tell ya, Nathan Dawe is one of the best DJs in the biz right now. He knows how to get the crowd jumping, and his beats are always top-notch. And Tynchy Stryder, well he's a true legend, mate. He's been spittin' rhymes since he was a nipper, and he's still goin' strong. You don't wanna miss his set, trust me.

But the real excitement, and I mean proper excitement, is when Toploader hits the stage. These lads are gonna play their smash hit "Dancing on the Moon," and I tell ya, it's gonna be a moment. I don't care how old you are, that song is a classic and it never gets old.

And then there's PixelKid, who's gonna bring the electronic beats and get us all pumped up. And Dan Connelly, well like I said, I ain't heard of him, but I reckon he's gonna be the next big thing. You know how it is, mate - sometimes the unknowns are the ones who surprise ya the most.

Tickets are only 28 quid, and the gig's on the 3rd of June. Get 'em quick, because they're gonna go like hot cakes. You can find all the details on Barra Soccer's website. It's gonna be a right ol' knees-up, I tell ya!

The work is on the terracing plenty of room for a “Party on the pitch”

They are temporary stands that can be built in days.

The club encouraging events through the summer,on the pitch, like many other clubs do, and you get miserable individuals ,who start spouting negative comments, what is wrong with people. It’s a great event, if you don’t like it don’t go.

Exactly we need to look at every way possible to increase revenue not just rely on the private finance of Directors.Every football ground at our level is underused out of season.Our location does not assist this matter much.It is one concert so Provided the necessary attention is given to noise levels,security,litter collection ,dispersal of customers etc like the rugby club do cannot see a problem.We have good ground staff who will no doubt maintain the pitch well.

Is this event being run by the club or an outside agency? I suppose what I’m really asking is who makes most money from it.

Never heard of any of 'em apart from Toploader - great band. Saw them blow Bon Jovi off stage at Gateshead a few years back.

Dancing in the Moonlight? It's okay. Take a listen to 'Achilles Heel' from their debut album. Classic!

How did it go today hopefully a few turned up.

From the videos I’ve seen of party on the pitch looks no more than 100 there.

100 x 30 = £3000. However the club has sent free tickets out to sponsors and fans , also halved the priced the last week or so.

Nathan Dawes, TopLoader , Tinchy Stryder I’d say you were talking in excess of £10,000 to have them there.

With your security and catering fees I’d say it’s a large loss from this event.

FA cup final weekend + super league magic weekend + under 18s not allowed. No real surprises, no logic from those who seem to be running this club.

But hey, let’s get rid of the successful company PitchUp who were behind the last one as we know best.
