Morecambe (the real derby)
Trip around the bay to our friends, can Barrow put a nail in Morecambe's coffin? would love Morecambe to stay up but our players owe us fans a derby win for a change. Hope Whing gets the players up for this proper derby with a big following from LA14 and 13 land.

Yes, it's about time we give them a beating on their own patch! Last season was a difficult pill to swallow.32mile_cul-de-sac wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 9:46 am Trip around the bay to our friends, can Barrow put a nail in Morecambe's coffin? would love Morecambe to stay up but our players owe us fans a derby win for a change. PARKING
There is no parking available on site for supporters.
Our local school (Westgate Primary School, LA4 4XF) offers on site parking approximately a 5 minute walk to the Stadium.
Visiting supporters must note that there is a parking charge of £5.00 per vehicle, cash only.
EDIT:
People DO park on westgate, but because of the nature of the match, daresay the bobbies will have the cones out early.
Also, it is a cycle path, so there's the risk of a parking ticket.

Re: Morecambe (the real derby)
Hope Morecambe stay up.
When we had problems they spoke up for us Vaughan put us into financial problems unlike Workington.
When we came in the league they flew a banner to welcome us back.
I was working in Leicester think it was 1974.
We played them at Christie Park
I bought a paper and only the scores appeared it was 3-7
Ithought it was a miss print so bought a second paper but it was the correct score.

Can Barrow fans buy tickets for the away end on the day of the match?
