Our friends from the Wirral come to Barrow needing a win and a Carlisle defeat to send both Carlisle and Morecambe down to the NL. Our team has an obligation to the other relegation candidates to try and win this game and I'm sure Mr Whing will install this in the players. Should be a cracker of a game.

No chance our Owners want the only Club to sell out the away allocation to be relegated.

As funny as it would be I can’t imagine for one minute an Andy Whing team would roll over on purpose

It's going to be bad enough next season with the added travel expenses created by the number of Southern teams likely to drop out of league one. Given it looks like we could lose Bradford to league one another club who travel well losing Carlisle too would just add even further financial strain on to the owners. If Barnet win the National league that just adds to it.

I hope they go down. Just to annoy the smug presenters on the radio.

Whilst losing a team close to us who bring us lots of fans would be unfortunate given the chance of more southern based teams being promoted and increasing our travelling costs I would be very cross if our team did not go out all guns blazing to try and beat Tranmere on Monday.its important for integrity of the league and also important to perform with maximum effort for entertainment of all our home support.Feel sure our manager will ensure players do their best on Monday.Still think Carlisle will stay up whatever our result as have momentum now.

All I want is Barrow to end up as high as possible up the league table don't think about other teams issues nobody else would be thinking about us would they?

They have an obligation above all to the paying supporters to try and win this game, and I'm sure they will. That said the fact that Stanway is starting every week is probably a reflection of us having one eye on next season so to a degree the other relegation candidates will just have to suck that up a bit.
After today I'd love it to be cracker of a game, but I think that's far from guaranteed.

Ive heard people say if we perform like we did today on monday - rovers will do us.
Can't blame the players really. Why should they pull their pan out when there's nothing to play for!

Not really sure what that’s based on; today wasn’t a classic but we were still solid enough. Tranmere would have to play very well to beat us (which they might well do)

Because they are professionals.
Can't see how people I was speaking to yesterday want us to lose.
