That's disgraceful from Canavan. Nearly a whole match without the captain and main defender because he went for an obvious red. Shocker.

Canavan was lucky to get away with that challenge in the first minute without a booking, but as silly and obvious as the pull was I’m not sure it’s a red card. The lad was never in control of the ball and not sure he’d have even got there in front of Stanway.

Tough game now the ten men need to dig in.

Unfortunately the decision by the ref was right. The decision by Canavan wasn't!
