Wasn't that long ago that we would have already played a few games to get to this stage!
Some great games back in the day, my favourite was most definitely the Brentford game, the atmosphere, the weather, the greasy pitch and just pure grit and determination..
What is your best FA Cup memory??

Billy McAdam goal against Southampton.
Never seen a howitzer quite like it from that day to this.
You just cannot get velocity like that with modern day footballs.

Barnsley for me had everything an FA Cup tie should have, drama in a David v Goliath tie, the sending off, goals a plenty from both sides. Things of beauty and awe especially that Banks exocet free kick. Hope when all looked lost and then sadly heartbreak at the end for one team, unfortunately it was us.
Was certainly a good couple of days too.

Surely the Neil Tarrent thunderbolt against Nuneaton in a 4th qualifying round replay must come close.

This one for me as well, 3-1 down, 10 mins to go . Lost my car keys on the Pop side in the following euphoria, had to get back in the ground before the stewards locked up !

Close but no t-shirt. Billy's goal in that pulsating Southampton game was another thing altogether.

Neil Tarrant night; such a shame it wasnβt now when highlights would be readily available, would love to watch the goals back

I think this year more than any we could really do financially with a decent FA Cup run. Last seasonβs League Cup encounter at Chelsea bailed us out but weβre already out of course of the that competition and we canβt progress in the Vertu. Mansfield,Maidstone,Doncaster all put paid to us progressing over the last few years and to lose in the First Round and be in early November, with only the League to attract floating fans, would not be ideal to say the least.
