Andy Cook

This is not from the Asda bread aisle - a friend who supports Bradford City tells me that Cook isn't getting much game time at the moment, and they are looking to loan him out, possibly to Barrow. A quick look on their forum shows another person saying "Barrow were expressing an interest". What do you folks think about this?

I said this last week.
Graham Alexander played Cook then subbed him.
In the Bradford interview he mentioned Cook and another player He stated neither would be played on past records .
I think they want to loan him out to see if they want to keep him.
Cookie would be a asset along with Gordon assuming he is not recalled by Andy Whings mate.
We need a Manager who can organise the team ,we don't have one yet.

I think he’d still end up our top scorer even with only half a season. So yes, get him in if we can get a deal.

A lot of Bradford fans seem to think he’s on his way to us, wages may be an issue he’s on a fair bit there

Definitely I think him and Gordon(Hopefully he stays longer)
will hit it off.

It’s been a done deal for weeks. He’s on the bench tonight to say his goodbyes before he returns to us on loan.

Robbie Gotts also coming home

If any of the above is factual and either one or the other is coming home to roost, then I think we might just start to see the improvement we all crave!

🤔Not sure Cook at right back will work. But we have more to gain than lose I suppose.

I would guess this will be a loan deal but I think Bradford will let. him go if Cookie wants to come back permanently.

Depending on how he does I think it would be a good place as he is coming to the end of his career and unlike other clubs Barrow will not pay as high wages but would give.him a longer contract.

Could this be the big announcement to end the silent treatment from the owners? Using my sauces and spider-senses I’m detecting a quadruple-header from the BoDs to feature (but not limited to) the following:
  • The return of Andy Cook
  • Wyl Stanway to Hull and back
  • Kane Hemmings to Askam United
  • Talks well underway for new stadium plan
Watch this space...

And the “Darren Ferguson post Boxing Day”, shenanigans

Cook did get a lot of sh*t when he got injured at holker street, but no one knew it was a a serious one, and he did provide an assist which pretty much kept us out of the play offs.
