Barrow v Oldham Athletic

According to iFollow on the club's website the "next live event", i.e. match commentary, is Barrow v Walsall; no mention of this Tuesday's Oldham game. Can't be right, shurely?

It's on sky +
As is the Walsall game next Saturday.

I am afraid I stopped watching when we 1-0 up you could see the way the games was going no organisation whatsoever.
Fey should have been playing but as much as he tries he is totally dejected.

Id say it's over if we dont win against Oldham if we can win that it puts us 1 point behind safety so its all to play for we have 3 home games all winable 1 away I just hope we can win the 3 home games as feel 9 points would keep us safe with 42 points but with this lot of players im unsure if they have 3 wins in them hope im proved wrong

Unfortunately they do not have 3 wins in them. Our home form is abysmal. We know we won’t “go for it”. I can only see us going down with a whimper.

A microscopic amount of optimism remains within me and so I really do think they will 'go for it' against Oldham and Walsall though in reality, that 'go for it' attitude, should have prevailed about ten games ago which might well have seen us relatively safe by now.
Though not completely, directly, and solely accountable for what will probably be the clubs exit from the EFL, the team as a collective, with few exceptions, must also take responsibility for their actions as well as the management.
As for winning the three home games - as we all know - it's asking them to do something that they haven't remotely looked capable of all season.

We all appreciate what the owners did to save us but surely they must take the brunt of the blame and why wont new investors touch us is a worry

I'm hoping for a number of things to happen:
1. We show up, in our last 4 matches and give it real effort and have a damn good go. Like we saw against Bromley. Come on lads, just four more games, maximum effort!
2. Oldham (tomorrow) and Walsall (Saturday) are in 'holiday mode'. Taking it easy, so they don't get injured and ruin their trip to Greece (other exotic places are available). We take advantage.
3. By the time we play Cambridge (Saturday 25th April), they have promotion tied up. Floating on a cloud. Also taking it easy (see above) and we take advantage.
4. We gain more points, between now and the final day, than both Harrogate and Newport. That's the important one. If we pull that off, see step 5.
5. WIN ON THE FINAL DAY!
A lot of hope, perhaps that's what will hurt the most, but we have a chance. It ain't over 'til it's over!

A win would put Oldham within touching distance of the play offs so I can’t see them being in holiday mode

There's a lot of straw clutching going on, perhaps the same that will break the camel's back and give us all the hump!
The main thing is we pick up more points than Newport and Harrogate before the final day, then we have a chance.
