Slightly odd given we only have him as back up; then again, he’s not been on the bench all season so presume we’ve either got a replacement lined up or our GK coach is registered.

Or Murray doesn’t use a sub keeper and we’d just bring someone in or recall Barrett if required?

You want your back up keeper playing regularly, hopefully a good move for all.

Makes sense as he wasn’t going to displace Winterbottom who’s been in good form. Keepers rarely get injured either aside from Winterbottom at Tranmere last season so hopefully now he’ll get some game time Barrett and we play with the extra outfield sub as we have been, and not have a Rory Feeley situation!

Played today in 5-1 defeat at Torquay and remain bottom of the table.
