Re: Do or die game
Sad so sad that we are down. For me though I feel more positive than the dark days when we were shafted when we were ousted out of the league and again shafted last time we went down. Re: Barrow v Macc match thread
Radio C - Ash says that Macc bench were abusing Barrow, calling us a load of thugs, Andy Wood says bitter losers. Heard the interview as well Jim. For me it shows their frustration, looks like their play off hopes have gone tits up. Sticks and Stones Etc, Who cares? they rode their luck in the cup ...

Re: Best ever on our patch
I believe we played Newcastle in a friendly about 1956. i remember my Dad telling me about the great Jackie Milburn before the game, but I can't remember whether he played. Re: Ashley Hoskin
If this gesture is true then it really is extraordinary and reminds me in these dificult times why I will always prefer to watch Barrow and this level of football to Premier League, no matter how bad we are. If it is a genuine offer everyone in top-flight football should be made to hear about it an...

Mike Croasdell, Was 1958 pies on the old thread. Supporter since 1958. Was really upset by an over zealous steward last season and so don't attend many games nowadays.

Agreed Dave. He should never have appeared in a BAFC short either.DaveC wrote:Marc Seagraves was a former Liverpool player that played for Barrow. Sadly he was just here for the money though. Not sure if he ever played a first team game for LFC though.
