Re: Barrow v Hornchurch match thread

You know when you think things can’t get any worse, they can.

What an absolute excuse of a football team have we become?

The level that these guys are at as professionals doesn’t even get to level of local Sunday league football.

Re: Barrow v Colchester utd match thread

I’m one of the first to moan (rightly or wrongly) about how poor we have been recently! I’m not a football manager but have spent a lifetime watching footie. Today was exactly the way I would have hoped things would have gone. Passion in abundance, what we lacked in skill we matched in energy. What ...

Overnight frost

My garden looks to be frozen overnight here in Barrow.

I suspect there will be a pitch inspection required?

Thoughts anyone?

Re: Accrington match thread

National league grounds next season.

Only good thing it shows the interim manager isn’t up to the job.

Who takes off the two best players when in control of the game?

Re: Barrow v Tranmere Rovers, match thread

Can’t comment on the third goal as I walked out at 0-2. I can’t gloss over anything tonight we are very poor and certainly favourites to be in the bottom two. We need changed and I’m afraid it starts with the manager. He’s been here on a Whing and a prayer. That doesn’t cut it in our league. If Whin...

Re: Newport County FC (A) match thread

Not sure what we are all about.

Smith and Fletcher in midfield are a non entity.

Before today these had secured 1 point at home.

Re: Barrow v Cambridge United, match thread

Try fitting poor, [SwearFilter], useless, f@cking & shite into a sentence. Andy Whing whilst you seem like a nice enough guy I think all them words above can fit into a sentence that includes your name! Not sure what you bring to the table. It’s certainly not exciting, thrilling, jaw dropping fo...

Re: Blackpool (A)

Sometimes in life despite the obvious qualities of a person as a likeable human they just don’t cut the mustard in the life skill they set themselves. Andy Whing came with a fine English mustard appeal, unfortunately he hasn’t quite cut it. If we continue down the root of giving a manager clearly ou...
