Re: Did anyone go to our last Football League match ?
Dave Leitch of the National Supporters’ Club was at Exeter for the last game.
I could not go to that match but I was at the Cambridge United game where Harry Thomson was injured and Bob Knox went in goal. It was on the 15 April 1972 and we lost 1-0.

Re: John Woods
It has been interesting reading these posts. From the messages on Facebook, texts and emails and this Forum it has shown the impact he made on those that met him and even those that did not. I first met him over forty years ago and our first experience of seeing Barrow at Holker Street was in the Fo...

Adam Boyes
I see our former player Adam Boyes has joined his old Guiseley manager Mark Bower at Bradford PA. A good player who had a successful first season at Holker Street but has never quite reached his full potential.

Re: Remembering Jim Mallon; a hero of 66-67
I recall seeing Jim Mallon playing for Greenock Morton in a pre-season friendly at Holker Street. He was an early version of an attacking full back an was impressive on that day. It was not a surprise that on that display alone that Barrow were interested in signing him. He was one of the many shini...

On the Radio Cumbria commentary yesterday Livesey was captain and when he went off he gave the armband to Turnbull.

Re: Alan Johnson.
Very sad about the loss of Alan. In the early days after we came out of the Football League he was one of the welcoming faces those of us who travelled up to matches from London would see. He helped when he took over as the Secretary in his quiet efficient manner. In recent years he could be seen on...

Re: Edmo Gone
The history books will show Darren Edmondson as one of the Barrow managers who has won a Trophy for the club. Being in a group with the likes of Don McEvoy, Vic Halom and Ray Wilkie is testament to him taking the club forward. I am sorry that things have not gone so well this season so I wish Darren...

Re: BBC website
I was concerned about the lack of the hyperlink. I wrote to the BBC about it last week online. I received an automated acknowledgment saying they would reply within, I think, 10 days. So hopefully something will be done.

Re: Lowestoft v Barrow
A great day for all Barrow supporters - we are the Champions! Those of us who travelled from London went to Brick Lane last night for a celebratory curry. What a perfect day!
