Eastleigh match postponed

Post by Steelworks End » Fri Feb 12, 2016 12:57 pm

An early pitch inspection (11.30 this morning) has seen the game fall victim to a waterlogged pitch, per Eastleigh's Twitter and Barrow's official website.

Just seen it on Twitter John. Yet another game lost. I wonder what date it will be re-arranged.

Probably when Eastleigh are back to full-strength and have regained form.

Just thinking the same myself.......nothing suspicious at all....
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I thought that as well about our called off games just after Cox took over. Play them when he has a few of his own players in.

I'm not so sure of that as they now only have 10 Saturdays & 16 fixtures left to play, Plus they still have most of the teams still in the trophy to play scheduled for Saturdays, this will kill them as probably 2 or 3 of these Saturday fixtures will be postponed due to the Trophy leaving them a handful of weeks to squeeze in 16 games, bye bye playoffs.

The pitch was [SwearFilter] up by playing the Bolton FA cup game on what looked like an unplayable pitch -

If they can afford to pay Matt Tubb's wages they could have payed to have the pitch relayed by now
