Re: Carlisle (A)
If it hasn't been sorted by now it won't be. Getting the paths wouldn't be a problem on the coast line. The issue would be getting enough stock to make it worthwhile you'd need say 6 carriages to get enough bodies on to make it pay and as there are only 2 classes [150.s and 156.s ] of units passed ...

Not seen it publicised anywhere.
Just wondered what had happened as it all seemed to have gone very quiet especially given plods purported involvement.

Re: Carlisle (A)
I rang the club today and was told somebody was trying to organise a train, but nothing forthcoming as yet. They also said it would be on their site if they did manage to sort it.Personally I think it has been left too late to try and organise it.I think somebody has underestimated how many people wo...

Re: Carlisle (A)
Theres the section that you.ll be in on Saturday The other pic shows the other end of the stand which is what your end should look like before they started messing about with seats and installing what looks like some sort of fence.

Re: Carlisle (A)
.Anybody know how to post a pic on here ? When you click on the symbol in the menu whereas usually on a site that takes you straight to the pics you have stored on your PC and you choose the one that you want to post but on here it just opens up some [img] brackets which is no good if you don't have...

Re: Carlisle (A)
At a guess the extra 200 tickets will be in the 'Edinburgh Woolen Mill Stand' above the Paddock at the North end, this is sometimes used when clubs bring very small followings, or much less important games (like the Pizza Trophy games). Really cant see you been given more tickets in the east Stand ...

Re: Carlisle (A)
Anyone know if you have to sit in your allocated seat for this one or can you sit anywhere? I would say if it stays as it is and there are 200 spare seats they.ll let you sit where you want but I suspect if you take the other 200 and sell them then they might insist on you sticking to your numbered...

Re: Carlisle (A)
That may be true now? But it was always opened when they played Leeds or Preston or other northern teams who brought a good following, who for whatever reason had a “rivalry” with them, and brought more than the off-set away section in the East Stand can hold. The sub-standard viewing position of t...

Re: Carlisle (A)
They'll give you the full allocation no doubt but you will have to pay for the full allocation upfront with no refund for any you don't sell. And then at the end of the season, they will wonder why more away fans didn't attend As has been stated there is room for 3.5k if they had anything about the...

Re: The 1000 extra seats required.
I think we have probably exhausted our stadium funding grants with work done previously on floodlights and other works in Casson era I believe floodlight improvements come from a separate specific fund. And as you're only entitled to a percentage of any particular project I wouldn't think the flood...

Re: The 1000 extra seats required.
And do you know what its reputed to have cost ? They are currently completing the fourth side of the ground with a structure that this time appears to be being built at a pretty reasonable cost. I don’t know but do tell………… I know let’s just stick half arsed efforts all over the ground cos we can’t...
