Zanzala

This lad has obviously got talent and people need to realise he is still quite young. He might just be going through a bit of a bad time at the moment,so just cut him a bit of slack. He is probably annoyed with himself that he is not scoring, but with the right encouragement and a bit of support I am sure he will come good and become a great asset to Barrow.

Or maybe it’s time for him to realise he’s being paid a very good wage here for his services and appreciate the fact and roll his sleeves up and crack on with it!

Damned if he does (play), damned if he doesn't.

He's clearly and visibly knackered after an hour. If he was banging the goals in (or setting them up) then it would be giving him some leeway, but he isn't. A young lad should be doing one or the other if he is going to be worth persisting with. Last the match, or get involved in goals.

Hard to figure him out as he was a far better early on when supposedly unfit yet the last four/five/six games he played he looked more unfit than at the start of the season….and definitely looked uninterested.

If fit (don’t know what fit is with him) but I’d definitely start him against Banbury with the hope it kick starts his season as he’s the closest we have to a proper striker.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Has to start against Banbury if fit, if he doesn’t I’m not really sure whether he’ll be here past January. FWIW I think he would benefit from a powerful central striker as much as anyone, he’s been having to do that role and it doesn’t work. Him and Gordon either side of a target man would be ideal

Was about to write exactly the same thing HK. He is talented but clearly not comfortable being a designated target man. All water under the bridge but I think he'd have been a great foil for Quigley. He seems to lack the mental resilience and physical aggression to be like Quigley and tends to fade from a game if not positively involved. That will not endear him to MC. Like you I can see him being moved on if and when we do manage to find a more orthodox forward replacement. Someone may get a very good player potentially if that happens.

Well if that`s true what you`re saying about Mark Cooper then he`s not exactly doing much about our defence because Ellis should have been dropped by now his performances come no where near what is expected of a captain ! let alone centre of the defence.

Don’t get me started on Ellis. It upsets Des 2+2

His best position is out wide and not a target man, saying that he needs to up his game.

We’ve seen what he can do and i think we are a stronger with him in the team than without. So whatever it is let’s hope he is back soon.

FWITW Ellis Eleven different clubs. Put out on loan seven times. 2019-2020 ACL injury out for 10 months.
