Has the situation below the NL changed? How can NL expect EFL to relegate when they will not relegate to the leagues below?

There is no similar agreement between the EFL and NL. The 'tripartite agreement' dates back to 1991 between the FA EFL and Prem.

Sky and BT wont be interested in a product without relegation. The battle for european places will only really interest supporters of the clubs directly involved. Not enough to make it worthwhile. Forget protecting the NHS - this is all about the TV money.
