Re: Bromley FC (A) match thread

We play every game as if we are up against arsenal in the FA cup and terrified of losing - it’s dreadful to watch Absolutely bang on with this Charlie. Every game still feels like a huge game for us as though we are the underdogs. We've never shaken that since we came up, and alongside that this ma...

Re: Clemence Leaves Barrow

To be fair, the rot started under wild It was hardly rot , one place off the play offs ? Ok we hit a PW so called bump , but this year we’ve fallen off a cliff. £ to a penny Fleetwood finish above us . One hell of a bump if so. We won what was it, 4 games in 24 or something post Xmas? Went from 2nd...

Re: Mansfield, All to play for.

Dust still settling and we're all still emotionally affected by the whole season I get that, but come on Kieran questioning the crowds response to that effort today? That's part of my point, it's not just about today. Did the team give their all today? Absolutely, no question whatsoever. But it was...

Re: Mansfield, All to play for.

Deserved my arse. Did they deserve booing? Maybe not, but they certainly didn't deserve the positive reaction they got. To have not even got a play off place from where we were at Xmas is staggering, absolutely staggering. Can anyone honestly remember a bigger bottle job in football? I can't. No ex...

Re: Mansfield, All to play for.

The fans gave a deserved ovation to the dejected and disappointed Barrow players who came within a whisker of the play-offs. Deserved my arse. Did they deserve booing? Maybe not, but they certainly didn't deserve the positive reaction they got. To have not even got a play off place from where we we...

That's always the way. Plug one hole and a leak appears elsewhere.
It just isn't though is it?

Re: Salford City v Barrow, match thread

A team can only play with freedom if you let them. It didn't require 5 changes we just had to put a midfield out then cut out the daft mistakes at the back. Terrible starting line up for the 2nd game in a row. Can't believe we pass back to the goalie every time we kick off.... Keep the bloody ball....

Re: Barrow v Forest Green Rovers, match thread

We need goals, yet highly-rated Telford sits on the bench once again? You mean 32 games - 4 goals this season Telford? Is that Telford's fault or is it down to the way we play? How many decent chances can you remember him missing? He's feeding off scraps. We've got possibly the best strike pairing ...

Re: AFC Wimbledon v Barrow, match thread

I never ever get this argument. You can still be consistent at your own level and within your own ability. Wrexham won the national league with 100+ points last season, a level below us. Were they and their players not consistent? Wrexham won the national league with many players playing two levels...

This is L2 these players are L2 standard so we are going to be inconsistent at times. I never ever get this argument. You can still be consistent at your own level and within your own ability. Re: Notts County (A) match thread

Wild superb on RC He sounds like he's losing it. Fans need to remember we are Barrow ? WTF it's that mentality again we shoukd be thankful of getting a point because we are who we are. We are 4th in the league with one of the best away records in the league- why shouldn't fans be disappointed when ...

Re: Swindon Town v Barrow: Match thread

I understand everyone’s frustration that we didn’t throw the kitchen sink at it today, but as PW said in his interview, let’s keep doing what has got us where we are. I wouldn’t want us to lose the last 4 matches and end the season badly, maybe setting up a poor start to next season. Funny, isn’t i...

Re: Swindon Town v Barrow: Match thread

' Unforgivable' seems a bit strong! 😀😀 Yes, fair comment. But it was immensely frustrating and weird to watch. I can only conclude that we don't want to go up, which would be fair as I'm not sure promotion would be good for us at this stage. But if the chance is there you go for it surely, and we d...

Re: Swindon Town v Barrow: Match thread

Absolutely bizarre last 20 mins from us. Results going our way and 3 points gives us something to play for in the rest of the season, and we're slowing the game down and bring Warren on for Newby. What the [SwearFilter]? Completely ridiculous and unforgivable ending to that game. Really weird stuff.
