Suppose they need better toilets, being soft southerners!

Just had this e-mail through:

Dear Best Loo-sers' voter,

It's possible that you may have had a problem registering
your vote on November 1.

We had some technical problems, due to the volume of votes
cast, but those problems are now resolved.

We will make sure your votes are counted.

Apologies again, and best of luck.

Yes. We obviously don't have enough people without a life to sit around creating e-mail accounts to register from.

Seems a naff way to determine the winner.

They should get someone unbiased to sleep the night in each toilet, then pick a winner from their experience.

How?
Do Shamsfleet FC have more fans than us?
Are they better at mobilising their forces?
Are they cheating?
Is it the Gypsys Curse?
Or is it a southern conspiracy?

Either way we have to redouble our efforts - onwards together!
Yes we have more fans
Yes we can mobilise better (though you are doing pretty well)
Yes we have a worldwide fanbase
No we are not cheating, we don't need too
Dunno about Gypsies
and I'm from the North.

We agree that the vote is a bit of a farce with no closing date as yet
and we have had the same problems as you re vote confirmations.

and we will have the best toilets in the Blue Square PREMIER next season. 8-)

Could local high schools get their kids to all vote at the beginning of their ICT session?? Or would the filters kick in?? Just a thought, hundreds of votes up for grabs, just waiting!! In fact this would be a great way in to the schools network before the big FA cup game, which we should be promoting there anyway!
I am doing this as we speak, admittedly im not local, but currently my year 12 students are voting for me in lesson.

UPDATE

Voting closes on January 5th, so at least we have an end date.

Kids from Walney School and Dowdales are in today on a Young Enterprise course, tapped their teachers up, and have calls out to Mr Blackledge and Mr Fay, so keep the faith!!!!!

Has anyone knocked up a half decent poster for this, like the 'fleet 'Battle of the Bogs' one? Don't have the skills myself.
We've got a couple of months to get loads of posters up everywhere.

I'm also going to pre-vote for my contacts like Mr gladbach. Cracking idea. Love the school kids getting on board too.
I've emailed the comms team at work, asking if something can be put out to everyone.
Asked my work mates to vote - they did - but one bellend voted for Ebbsfleet. ffs.

Hopefully, we'll do Rotherham and then that good friend of BAFC, The Bay will be alongside. Again.

As the voting allegedly goes on into next year, perhaps we should hold off and come with a late run? Alternatively, we could all change our ISP before January and vote again ;)

Just been on Barrow official website.. surely they should be advertising the link on there? they should have it as a full page to prompt ppl to vote, with a 'continue to home page' button underneath...
