Barrow AFC vs Newport Match Thread
Re: Barrow AFC vs Newport Match Thread
Heard a couple of disturbing things from the voice of Ste Story this afternoon.
One distinctly more likely than the other but both would disappoint me for different reasons.

Good result to end on. 60 points a good achievement even if early season form suggested it could have been more, they have done very well overall. Shame the early kick-off meant I could not go, it has been a nice day and all. Going to be long summer till we have another go, I know it's not the same but we'll get by with a bit of olympic and eruo 2012 football.
Bayliss has suggested he knows who he wants to bring in and let go. Guess we will have to wait and see.

Enjoyed it. If Cookie and Bosher can both hit form at the same time I reckon they could be a formidable strike force.
Up the Ziggers.

One thing is for certain - I'm no understudy to Chris Altree, don't believe what Bayliss was saying about me either
I haven't made any decisions about next season, but later this week I understand we'll hear more about the rest of the team and what's happening next season????

Pleased we won- I know it was a bit of a dead rubber game, Thought Newport looked the better team for the first 45 minutes. Its clear we need to sort some key areas over summer.
I'm jus a bit [SwearFilter] off with the lack of support for the highest placed Barrow finish since promotion.
Considering there were 150 hospitality, booked in well in advance, over 100 Newport fans and kids for a quid, we only managed a crowd of just 900.
Scratching my head.
Does the town deserve BSP football?
Something is not right.

We've been [SwearFilter] shite for most of the last 10/11 games why on earth would the floaters want to watch some of that dross that was served up ?Jonty wrote:Pleased we won- I know it was a bit of a dead rubber game, Thought Newport looked the better team for the first 45 minutes.
