This idea was mentioned a few years ago (in the mid 1990's) once the raise the roof had achieved it\s goal of raising the roof - the club at the time were not too keen on the idea -- and to be honest it's something i would not contribute towards.

Another key figure has departed from the club in the last day or so.

I believe it's a director.

I expect that there will be an announcement soon enough.

So.
Farewell then
As yet un-named director
As your door closes
A can of worms opens
‘We will never sell the ground’
Yes
That was your catchphrase
Just as well
I ponder
For the worms
Joyous
At their liberation

There was a small club up in Furness
Whose finances were in a right mess
The players weren't paid
That's why they never stayed
and the Conference said "Sort It"
or start with 10 points less.

Still no confirmed signings, the compensation referred to earlier for the under 24s is provided Barrow has offered a deal in writing within 7 days from the first Sat in May, then based on appearances , wages paid and time at the club, effectively in most of our players " not a lot"

We bought Ken McKenna.

We had him for half a season then the shithouse engineered a move away from the club. Money well spent

Premier league teams now releasing youngsters. Barrow could be the sort of club that could kick start their professional careers and be affordable to us. Securing the new training facility is going to crucial to attract promising young players.

ie-

Everton youngsters who are also moving on having never made a first team appearance.

Goalkeepers Adam Davies and Connor Roberts, defender Aristote Nsiala and winger Femi Orenuga have been released.

A number of scholars have also been let go, with Jordan Barrow, James Fitzgibbon, Ben Heneghan, Ryan Higgins and Adam Thomas all exiting.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Yes as well as. why not the Everton's,Liverpool's and Wigan's? These lads are 18-20 and some of them come out of football altogether. They can't all get into other league clubs.
