PATHETIC!!

I renewed my own and my son's memberships in early August at the club.
Was told they had no membership cards in then, but they were expected in later that week.
Was told they would be posted to me if I could not get back the following week to pick them up.
10 weeks later I still have not received them.
Sounds like a lot of people are in the same boat.

The number quoted on the official website is out of date and has not been updated recently unfortunately.

The number of members as of last week was just over 450 if my memory serves me correctly.

I have asked miller Waite to update the number and hopefully this will be done sometime tomorrow.

Why have so many members not had their membership cards sent to them?
Also when is this years AGM going to be held.
We have been told end of August, end of September, it is now October.

If this is a question and answer session, what is happening about the repayments to debenture holders?
This was due at the end of August. I e-mailed the club FOUR weeks ago about this and they haven't had the decency to reply.

Well there's your first mistake! The club have always seemed hopeless at replying to emails even when things have been running smoothly, yet alone in our present shambolic state.

The board have, in a round about way admitted that things are not as they should be, we all know that money is a bit tight and we cant afford to simply wave a magic wand and make everything all right BUT they are doing what they can with limited resources, they have listened to us with regards to volunteering etc, they did bring us back from the brink in the not to distant past and they do care for this club as much as we do!

So, lets stop all the constant back biting, concentrate on what we do best and get behind the team and help them win the games on the pitch and let the board and staff concentrate on getting things right behind the scenes! Its not going to happen over night but they are trying to make things right.

Have a little faith and show a lotta passion

The board have, in a round about way admitted that things are not as they should be, we all know that money is a bit tight and we cant afford to simply wave a magic wand and make everything all right BUT they are doing what they can with limited resources, they have listened to us with regards to volunteering etc, they did bring us back from the brink in the not to distant past and they do care for this club as much as we do!

If the website was set up properly, then the membership count would increase automatically and the members account status would also update!
A decent website doesn't need much manual input (ask Ste Storey to show MW how to do it )

This club is so good at disengaging fans its not even funny.
I know the board are volunteers but they are also professionals, and in many cases succesful businessmen who should know that good PR is key as is looking after your loyal clients and customers. Why are we so bad at the basics. Amateur clubs are ran so much better than this.

Is that in his remit? Doubt it since he's paid on commission for filling the corporate rooms for the games.

Sorry but this is like thanking your teenager for picking up a sock off the floor after asking him/her to tidy up their room for the last several yrs, then congratulating them for their efforts

Its the simple things like answering the phone calls and the emails in a timely manner, it costs nowt but gains everything

Lots of folk have come on here saying they wanted to hire out the bar for a party or offering Sponsorship etc no reply MONEY & Goodwill lost, poor do.
