I myself & i'm sure enough other folk who can not attend games & a few dozen who even went to the games would pay a small subscription for more detailed highlights say at least 15 /20 mins of matches, interviews & day in the life of xyz & behind the scenes type video's.

If the club added archives of play off runs & finals, FA Trophy runs & finals, FA Cup games etc then up date the archives from then on etc.

Would 5 pounds monthly be enough for operation costs and hopefully a small profit for the club, would the people who do it now do this for us, are they volunteers ?

It would help promote the club, make us a bit more professional, more strings to our bow so to speak.

We edged a lively competitive cup tie that could've fallen either way.

Another moment of class from the hitherto quiet Louis and some laughable halfway line tomfoolery was crucially matched by a sturdy defensive effort and a box-dominating performance from Danny Hurst.

Early on Tamworth showed why they're going well so far this season. With efficient ball out wide and a succession of early crosses of varying angles and heights, Barrow's defence was on high alert. Hurst flapped at a corner, and a visitor's glancing header was goalbound but for a headed clearance by a well positioned defender. Thereafter, undeterred, Hurst claimed expertly and made some fine reflex stops to be a worthy man of the match.

It was an even scrap in the middle for the most part. Alex Ray Harvey sitting in front of the defence is having the dual benefit of providing cover for the back four and giving steady purpose to get us on the offensive. It was his vision in finding Richie Baker that teed up Almond to blast home from the edge of the area early in the second half. Dangerously, as the half wore on, we sat much too deep as Tamworth retained possession in advanced positions. Much more of that would almost certainly have led to an equaliser. It was some relief, therefore, when Tait sold adventurer-turned short-sleeved sweeper keeper Breeden short and Adam Boyes' season-long persistence at hunting down lost causes earned a game-clinching reward.

I was impressed with the whole back line, with Mike Pearson - his best game of the season by some distance - showing why his 'utility man' title should be dropped. He's principally a centre half. Bayles summed it up perfectly when he said 18 year old Tom Anderson is becoming a man very quickly. A strong aerial display from a lad with a bright League future. Sean Hessey seems to give us more strength and solidity in defence than Skelts has (so far this term at least). Matt Flynn was dependable and looked a fraction better with ball at feet than of late.

Guiseley away is tough, but no terror for an established Conference side. Very winnable. Clean sheets with this new 3 in central midfield strategy should give confidence to all and could work well on the road.

How good it was to see Danny Hurst selected as man of the match last saturday. Thoroughly deserved. It has always seemed to me that the selection is biased towards outfield players and although most of the time this is justified I feel that sometimes the goalkeeper is over looked.

The team is starting to look better balanced now. Let's hope things start to go really well for the rest of the season.
