Obi Anoruo back at club

Post by walneyboy » Tue Nov 27, 2012 11:52 pm

According to his Twitter feed he is back at the club but Bayliss (aka "Angry man") doesn't speak to him....

he has had a Twitter convo with former player Paul Smith over the last few days and he says he is back but was not involved tonight

Another player that Bayliss has fallen out to go with Nicholas and others

Can't say I'm surprised that he proved difficult to get rid of.

Any rep worth their salt wouldn't have found it too difficult to make an unfair dismissal case stick (if it went that far).

As a Barrow supporter, I'm disappointed that we have a player still on the books, drawing wages that is unlikely to get used. As an ex union man, I'm pleased to see the lad fight for his rights and win.

From what I could gather, the whole thing was a crass move to try and get rid of a face that didn't fit. I'm glad it never worked.

Will we learn our lesson?

The other story is he was trouble from the start, if that's the case I'm [SwearFilter] off that some law's seem to protect idiot's.

Suppose it's another of the "we'll never know the truth saga's"
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Unfair dismissal law only applies when an employee has been there 12 months, so no problems there!

But a contract is still a contract. It's there to protect each party and if one of then feels they have been wronged they surely have some form of redress?

Thought I saw him last night, needed a shave mind!
Just read those twitter conversations and had a general look around, the guy seems like an absolute bell end IMO.

And Paul smith seems to be the most bitter man on the planet about not getting a new deal

To be fair most footballers are bellends.

As much as i like Bayliss he doesnt do himself any favours. Do all his players have to be really nice chaps. Nicholas from what i remember seemed an honest nice guy, look where that got him!
Annoys me the most when were paying his wages and we havent even seen him on the bench when we havent had a full one.

Forget if obi is a bit of an idiot, or smith, or Mukendi, Bayliss shouldnt have been allowed to do this the numerous times he has.

Heywood
Nicholas
Jones
Ferrell
Mukendi
Onouro

Any more?

Looking at the state of him when he was running with AH, he didnt look fit to be near the bench yet alone on it, so those seemingly so desperate to see him back should factor in his condition before making such calls IMO.

How much fitness does he need to sit on the bench and carry the water to the sideline?
