His only problem is that he talked about 'not having a full squad at the start of the season.' Sadly that's
his fault. However I think he's doing a decent job, on the pitiful budget he's got at his disposal. Get down there everyone on Friday night.D:

Re: Telford tonight
I hate it like we all do when we lose or don't play well . You and I are not the manager Kieron. We can go off on one and no one cares, Bayles goes off on one and everyone is a critic. As I say, he cares and he's passionate about our club. Other than that, I don't have the answer. One thing I won't do is have a cheap pop at him on a text.KHayman wrote:I'm not calling for his head nor have i lost the faith. I know out budget isn't great but I think it's bigger than he'd like you to believe and i bet it's not the second lowest in the league. Passion is why people complain and get frustrated GT. When we loose GT I'm in a rage for the rest of the day, where's the difference between me and Bayles ?GTBLUE wrote:Bayles cares, because he's got a great passion for our club.He says things in the heat of the moment, because he cares. He lets his emotion show, because he cares. He works his [SwearFilter] off to get a squad ( he makes mistakes) together with NO money, because he cares. To all those keyboard cowards (as Bayles put it) please feel free to confront him with your feelings of how crap he is on Friday night. He said you can all approach him at any time. I wait for the outcome.!!!

Re: Telford tonight
I'm not bayless biggest fan but I think he does his best and always has but is his best good enough to get the points to stay up the league is tight an we are 6 points off 12th things could change with a decent run but that run needs to start asap we can't be doing much right at the min as the league table don't lie an being in our position nearly half way in season is not good.bayliss don't do himself any favours with his communication with fans really

Re: Telford tonight
Might be alone in this but I'd choose a straight talking manager who just says what he's thinking and tells it how it is to some boring bellend spouting clichés and non-answers to everything.

You would have to have immense discipline not to read a small board like this one when you knew people would be making comments about you and what you do!

Re: Telford tonight
it's the end of the game and radio cumbria stick a microphone in front of him and start asking him sometimes stupid bloody questions. It shows he cares about the club when he tells it as it is. I'd rather have that than some bloke that doesnt give a [SwearFilter].
Re: Telford tonight
I honestly do think it would be helpful to the fans for Bayliss to explain his team selections after games. Why persist with a central defender at full back when hes a natural central defender?Would be just a tad helpful.Ask the question Andy. excellent point though. How i miss the old days when players were brave enough to have a shot at goal.(too much crap from imports playing tap/tap football.Boring.)mickycarrol wrote:What did Skelton do to warrant once again being benched?? Thought he had a solid game against Hyde n deserved a start tonight!! Hessy whilst a tryer is no full back!!!

Re: Telford tonight
Perspective time. The manager should never shoot from the hip at the clubs supporters.Hes speaking with passion. But so too are the supporters. Why? Because they care.Thats the reality. We all care.Football is all about passion. And that's what makes it a great sport.I want Dave Bayliss to succeed because hes invested a lot of his life and energy into this club.It cant be easy for him seeing other clubs throwing money about chasing the dream.but i feel under his guidance we will stay in BSC once again.I initially gave him 5 years to show us what hes got.(go back that far on my threads and you will see.)Well it will be 5 years come the end of this season. Then will i begin to judge him because that will have been a tough but quite successful 5 year apprenticeship. Going forward into his sixth year then i will start to really judge.Looking forward with this guy in charge as he,s barrow through and through.Just get the lads to play decent football and be brave enough to shoot when possible dave and this young team will im sure mature together and bring you and us the rewards we all want.Because we all care.Night shift over.rant over.we have to keep the faith.Really.GTBLUE wrote:Bayles cares, because he's got a great passion for our club.He says things in the heat of the moment, because he cares. Re: Telford tonight
Big fan of Bayliss always have been, replacing a manager that is our most succesfull non league manager ever would be folly, I dont expect anything but a relegation battle for the forseeable future until crowds improve, crowds wont improve unless results improve so its a vicious circle. A new manager WONT improve things imo. Its really down to the Furness public to back the team through the thin times as well as the good times, alas we all know that wont happen.
Re: Telford tonight
But don't forget, the hard core have always supported through thick and thin.Thats why we still have a town football team.
