That comment from Dodd is almost as ridiculous as Keen admitting guilt.

[SwearFilter] sort it.

I wonder if the recent influx of serbians into our great town has anything to do with this. :scarf:

TBF Rio Nelson, Malvin Kamara and, to an extent, Paul Edwards did obtain a kind of cult status despite their relatively short times here.

Surely all allegations should have been stated as just that.."alleged?"The Barrow statement more or less accepts it happened.Even in the crappy sun it should have used that terminology surely?

The ref heard the racism and that is why it was reported to the FA. Also it could be heard on the radio coverage and that will be used in evidence for the FA, i certainly heard it while listening to the game on radio Cumbria.

Yes i am a Macc fan but i have nothing against your club, just the moron/s that abused our captain. There is no room for this in football nor any other part of life but i also think you fans won't give up the culprit/s because that would mean you are guilty of the racism and the club would be punished by the FA. However if you give them up you won't get such a harsh punishment than if you are found guilty without giving them up.

Time to do the right thing guys, don't hurt the club you are supposed to support, give up the idiots and lets get back to football.

You weren't even there and you have the cheek to accuse and say you heard it?!?!?

Exactly, lets get back to football. If someone was racist, then then Police, FA and Barrow are investigating it and will find the culprit, if there was even one.

would make it easier if the fans gave up the culprit/s.

no i wasn't there but it was heard plainly on the radio, and the tannoy asked for it to stop so someone at top club level heard it as well.

Time to give the culprit/s the :sentoff:

Please don't comment on this if you don't have a clue what you are on about.

The commentators box is on the other side of the ground where the alleged 'your a monkey' comment was said.

There wasn't any chants made at all, and that is a fact. They are investinging is somebody called 'browny' a Monkey when he came out for the 2nd half.

Which it looks like he was called a Numpty, by fans who were stood near the tunnel.

We at Barrow are all against racism, if we knew of anything we would ALL speak up and be a witness in court if necessary. Macclefield and the press have given us all a bad name, for absolute nothing but a moron (if true).

Like the Clattenburg and Plebgate incident all over again.

So why were your fans asked on the tannoy to stop the racism remarks/chants/shouts?

The fans from both teams were told that racism is not welcomed here and will not be tolerated.

Strange how 'Browny' doesn't want anything to do with it, he knew he made it up, or wasn't 100% sure he heard it.

Your happy to jump on the bandwagon of Barrow Racists even though nobody who has commented on that post was at the game, because they would tell you there was no racism at the game at all.

Don't think they have 400 inbreds in the town. Would be interesting to know what their highest attendence for an away game in the last few seasons is.

Inbreds? That's it I'm going to the national newspapers and kicking off a huge fuss, I'm deeply hurting by it. Grow up little boy.

And try 12000 fans, 6hours away in London for an away attendance. Or the same year 8000 to Sunderland and 7000 to Middlesbrough the year before.

Please for goodness sake, make this your last shandy and go to bed. :sentoff:

Perhaps through someone on the safety team overeaccting to the intial complaint, although to be fair, if such a thing happened, surely you'd prefer that they did this mid match without establishing the facts, in case it was true. I'd say that was a proactive thing to do.

I'm pretty sure, from talking to people that were in the area, that nobody called Nat Brown a monkey. To be honest, it took me a couple of days to even accept he might not have maliciously made it up, such was the level of play acting and attempts to influence the referee that both he and the number 2 indulged in.
I can just about accept that he thinks he heard this.

People were chanting 'cheat, cheat, cheat', not making monkey noises, your managers attempt to move this towards racist chanting is a disagrace, as is the media witchunt.

Let's see if there's any actual, real, evidence. Not that it matters on your forum it appears.
