Bingo, yourself and a few other will agree with what your saying. I wrote my post aiming it at the witch hunt crew that what Bayliss out last week now the BoD this week.

Sick of people just wanting to moan, and always wanting to point the finger at someone.

Are you on the BoD? Seems like you may be...

That's what I'm getting at, there are people on here & who stand on the terraces easily up to the task of becoming a board member (probably at any level on that board as well) but who would have the time, commitment & willingness to do just that? & let's be honest, when thing's go wrong or aren't what supporter a b or c wants to see happening either on or off the field which one of us would put up with the shit that flies around because it wouldn't be their way of doing things.

I'll say it again, It's no good people just sounding off, there needs to be some plan but I'm STILL waiting for ONE of the "usual suspects" to come on here & put themselves forward or post their master plan.
I'm not saying these people are wrong, just tell us how they'd do it.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Don't know if anyone heard it but Danny Rowe's contract was up yesterday and under embargo 'rules' we won't be able to extend it. I mention it because I noticed on text that Bury are also under an embargo but have been allowed to extend the loan of one of their loanees. Different rules for FL and BSP ?

It was defianteley said rowes contract finishes today and also couldnt be renewed.
maybe its as his contract has expired so therefore he needs re-registering, whereas the bury lad was an extension to a loan.

The Mail has an updated story Sunday night that BK now admits we are under a transfer embargo for an unpaid tax bill.

Says he didn't know about it until last night.

To be fair I dont normally deal with my tax affairs until it's brought to my attention on a public internet forum. Yesterday I thought we might be [SwearFilter], today I know we are.

To be fair to BBCRC it was they who brought it to BK's attention - allegedly! ;)

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. That's 3 completely different stories he's spouted in little over 24 hours now. Squeaky clean my big fat spotty arse.

And if by some remote chance he is telling the truth about not knowing about it until yesterday evening (by which time everyone this side of the English Channel, and a few beyond as well, knew) then WTF is going on there?

Yet despite all this he'll still no doubt get re-elected on Thursday week...

Because I support my club and have a realistic head on doesn't mean I'm a member of the BoD, although they are the qualities a BoD member needs. :D

Lets just be clear - it was the embargo he didn't know about, not the unpaid tax.

Fair point Jim but when told about the embargo by Andy Wood BK said it was not because of an outstanding tax bill, although to be fair he may just have been caught on the hop and not had a chance to check.

Let's also all remember that if it wasn't for Brian there would be no Barrow AFC.

It is. If I got paid to do a good job and didnt 95% of the time, I should be slated for the 5% I wasnt good.

If I was a volunteer and did a good job 95% of the time, I should be thanked for the 95% of the time.

Replace the BOD, sure the new blood will do a good job for a few weeks, even months. Until they get bored and the novelty runs off.

Never did I mention anything about replacing the board.

In his third BBCRC interview in two days this morning Brian Keen spoke: “Players have been paid…a small NI bill unpaid but cheque will be sent today…not a significant amount…significant money owed to club due to be paid…financial situation blown out of all proportion - mountain out of molehill…cashflow issue…expect embargo to be lifted immediately…transfer will still go ahead…definitely want to remain in Blue Square Conference National club”
