Interesting where he says problem due to documentation and communication, someone sent a message that shouldn't have been sent without more thought'

So basically another lie yet again...
The most worrying thing is that people on here are actually believing the shit he and others are saying.

Re: Barrow Transfer embargo...?
I believe that this will be sorted in the short term pretty soon.
However, I also believe that it indicates that the club is riddled with little problems that all add up.

Isn't about time the BOD actually did something
This board (well...the main protagonists) saved the Club in 1999 - and they did a good job for a while. And they deserve our thanks.
However, it's now 2013
14 years on...And they're not doing a good job...Are they
Maybe NOW's the time for them to hold up their hands...admit defeat...bow out...and say a fond farewell.

Re: Barrow Transfer embargo...?
I understand this Reg, but as I said previously quite a few lower end clubs attendances are boosted by several large away followings that we rarely ever get, meaning our actual home support reflects well, but if a little more effort was made to get those ex-supporters back and some semi interested to attend several home games per season, a tough task but should at very least be tried.Reg wrote:Mike, we're not.Mike Wilson wrote:
Totally disagree, we are mid table in home attendances,

Re: Barrow Transfer embargo...?
Just been mentioned on BBC Radio Cumbria that the transfer embargo is still in place and will be sorted tomorrow (again).
Re: Barrow Transfer embargo...?
How many times have the BOD put dates on things and haven't met them. They shouldn't put dates on things because when nothing happens people worry.

Re: Barrow Transfer embargo...?
The embargo will only be lifted when the bill is paid in full according to the conference rules (near the bottom under 'sanctions' heading:
http://www.footballconference.co.uk/rules.php
Interesting reading.
Any idea how much is owed? If its not much why the big delay, are they trying to negotiate a lower amount/stage payments I wonder which would possibly mean embargo stays in place.

Re: Barrow Transfer embargo...?
Starting to come clear now we dont actually have the money to pay this bill otherwise surely it would have been paid yesterday as a matter of urgency... Cheque's as well? Whats wrong with a good old balance transfer?
Not the best time to be under a transfer embargo, and i dont believe it will be sorted anytime soon
