On the bright side we've just had a shot.

Will you [SwearFilter] off leechy 38
What could the board of done about tonight ?
We are playing Luton away on a Tuesday night against a side who have just beat Wolves.
Anyone who thought/ expected anything tonight are watching the wrong sport.

At last a voice of sanity. Anyone reading this thread would think we were getting thrashed by Holker. At full strength we would have struggled to avoid a heavy defeat against a team who are on a different planet squad/budget/support wise. Given all thats happened in the last few days its a miracle we have kept the score down. I hope to god they don't bring on any of their subs any of whom would walk into most sides in this League.Incidentally as a matter of interest I understand Macc have only named four subs tonight. Through thick and thin and all the rest of it but this is a very difficult time to find anything positive. I only hope we can get out of this game without an absolute pasting and bring in players for saturday who can help turn this around.bobbie moore wrote:I think we have been lucky this hasn't happened before.....no quality soon er season over the better 2012/2013 one of the worst seasons for football for barrowafc for many years
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

I would get JYO on and mix it up a bit, get stuck in and grow some confidence, hope for a 0-0 second half, keep the goals down.

Can only think James Owen is not 100% fit otherwise he would surely have started in a game like this.ruins wrote:I would get JYO on and mix it up a bit, get stuck in and grow some confidence, hope for a 0-0 second half, keep the goals down.
