One donation of a few bit's of scrap steel, it'll be added to the rest at the ground.

Anyone else?

It's not costing you anything as I'll pick it up & it's not taking money away from any other fund raising idea's but it could make a big difference as to what we could do around the ground.

As I've mentioned in the other Maintenance topic, we'll be at the ground on Sunday so if anyone has any scrap metal, lead, old radiators, boiler, rusty tools (thats not an innuendo aimed at you GT  ) anything we could throw in the scrap metal pile & sell we'll happily take it off you. We should be able to pick it up or if you could drop it off, even better (nip in & see how the area is coming along as well)
We have a couple of jobs coming up that will require money spending on them (this is nothing to do with the actual area but improvement jobs around the ground) so it would be really helpful if you could help us out here.

If you have anything that could help us raise a little cash such as scrap metal that'd be great.

If you can't bring it to the ground on Sunday when there should be a few of us there under the main stand just let me know what you have & where you'd like us to pick it up from & we'll do the rest (a PM will be fine)

Thanks for the offer, keep em coming.

Jamestown1, I've PM'd you but if you have anything you'd want to donate (or anyone else, scrap metal, tools, wood saw, wood plane or materials such as plywood, legnths of wood, shelving) we'll be at the ground tomorrow from 9:00 am.

Probably best for you or anyone else to come in the double gates at the right hand side (as you look at it) of the main stand.

Just a quick reminder that if anyone has any scrap items that I've mentioned, we'll be at the ground from 9:00 am for quite a while so if you have anything that we could use just pop down & drop it off with us or if you can't get it there if you could let us know we'll pick it up.

We got rid of the scrap metal we had lying around today, which wasn't a great deal but got £36 for it! This'll go straight into the M,A, pot for any materials we need to buy.

Thanks also to a guy who who reads this forum but doesn't post but had read about us asking for bits of metal to throw in the trailer to sell, he just turned up with stuff he'd had lying around his garage, it really is that easy so if you've got any drop me a PM or reply on here & we'll pick it up even if it's only a small amount when we put it all together it really does make a difference.
He then also saw we were just about to buy a sash lock (?) & said he had one of them in his garage - again saving us money, he never told us his name but thank you.

Mike Wilson who is over on a weeks holiday also turned up to see how it's going & gave me a cash donation for the M,A, kitty, thanks Mike.
Nice to see you again & enjoy the rest of your holiday (or Vacation :) ) but lay off the break dancing at your age

Ian,

The father in law keeps threatening to have another one of his garage clearouts (never really gets rid of much to be honest) which might even mean getting rid of some metal and possibly even tools (he was/is a joiner). Anything I can divert away from the tip will be yours so long as it fits in my car, as it isnt really worth me paying to get a van from Chorley to bring it up.

Might be a while before he gets around to it though.

Have an old tubular galv trampoline that I'll bring round to the ground on "Clean Up Sunday"- hopefully get a few quid for that scrap. Cheers John
