Pearson was my MOM but they all did well. We started the brighter, they got the better once o'donnell went off imo as we lost momentum a little bit, and we hung on at the end, but a great win and hopefully we are going to put a little run together.

Not the best of games to watch but what a result!! that was fantastic.

I thought Baker, Flynn, Hurst..........all of the team had a great game. I would like to see Ruthers when he play's like he did early on yesterday get into their box, it only takes a foot in the wrong place to earn us a penalty & when your running at defenders like he did on Sat that's always a possibility.
Boyes seemed to enjoy having someone else up front with him although I would like D L Rowe to chase things a little more.

BTW Luton support was atrocious, they come all that way to stand in silence!!! amazing.

Luton have appealed against the red card:

Luton have appealed to the Football Association to over-turn Lathaniel Rowe-Turner’s red card at Barrow on Saturday.

The defender was shown a straight red card following an incident in injury time in the 1-0 defeat at Holker Street as he tangled with goalscorer Adam Boyes.

The club will now await the FA’s decision, which is due later this week.

New signing Steve McNulty, who was right by the incident, believes Boyes should have followed Rowe-Turner if he had to go.

He said: “I was right there. I don’t think it was a sending off. Their player looks to me as if he’s had him in a headlock and he couldn’t get off him.

“All their players surround the referee and I think the referee and the linesman were a bit weak and sent him off. In my eyes it wasn’t a sending off.

“If he’s sent him off he should send the other lad off.”

Think most were shouting out about Hunter and Baker if I recall - Owen and a ball player is and should always be a good combination to be fair.

Looking at the video of the goal (and seeing it live from the other side),I can understand now why the Luton manager is upset with Taylor for the poor header. Singling Taylor out when McNulty is the player in position to mop up and he did not, is rather shocking.

Some shocking clearances under no pressure what so ever and poor distribution on Saturday, demonstrates he is a shadow of the player that helped Fleetwood to promotion last season. Fact he is back in BSP so quick kind of tells you he has not improved much. If anything he did not look any different to when he was at Barrow a few seasons ago. I think he is in for a lot of stick from the Luton support unless he does better.
