Looking ok for Sunday although we could still do with a few more volunteers to make it a three hour job instead of four or five, 9:00 till dinnertime if you can help out, I think we have between ten & twelve at the moment.

Thanks to Steve & Steve (I think) for making the handrail for the BDF shop which we'll be fitting on Sunday.
Thanks also to Neil & Luke (in advance) for going down there on Saturday to connect all the electrics.

Anyone with a van or trailer on Sunday would be very helpfull.

Anyone with any scrap metal, just drop it off at the ground on Sunday.

Think about it, what else would you be doing at nine in the morning on a Sunday other than having a sleep in, nursing a hangover or fending off the wife

Just an outside chance someone could help out here rather than us spending money out of our kitty, does anyone have one of those portable work-benches that they could donate? or if you have a spare £20 they sell theIm in Wilkinsons I can pop down and give a few hours Sunday but that's the tenth feb not ninth I'll be there but I'm always late see you in morn

The bins have all been moved around a bit (there are plenty btw) & hopefully are placed more where they need to be so there can't be any excuse for people not to use them.
Elaine should now just be able to concentrate on all the other areas she does (fantastic job she does as well) instead of picking up litter & putting the [SwearFilter] up me when I was happily working away down there today bit of Gurkha in that girl!! (no rude comments.....she's a proper lady)

GT, your boards came in very useful & my attic looks great now

Only joking bud, We've started to lay them down in the MA & they've really come in handy. A job that needed doing but I didn't want to spend money on it.

Next Sunday (10th) is still on, depending on the weather, still looking for some more volunteers so if your not up to much for a few hours from 9:00 ish you know where your needed.

Got your PM Barrowabc, hope everythings ok now.

Six hardy souls turned up this morning (GT still tucked up in his bed knocking out the Z's though) which was a decent amount considering the poor weather. Exploited & his mate were out of town & couldn't make it, same as Gary, Barrowabc had a little mishap this morning but has offered to come down & help out next time around.

Capman, Dalton Bluebird & Jonty did a lot of the crappy job's which included picking up loads of litter, emptying the bin's around the ground & putting holes in the bottoms of them so they don't just fill up with rainwater from now on, Ste Story turned up looking a little fragile but still managed to do his bit helping the other three out.

We all shifted a load of metal fencing from the "away" corner & stored it in the MA. A load of them flimsy fence's were moved & stacked out of sight & pallets were shifted. Some more scrap metal was found lying around + Jonty brought some down so another nice little amount is now building up & is close to be getting weighed in.

Myself & Mrssenorita also did some of the flooring in the MA that will eventually become the paint area.

Overall I think the whole of the Wilkie Rd side of the ground looks a lot better than it did at 9:00 this morning & hopefully with a bit better weather & a few more volunteers we can sort out the other half of the ground which will be much harder than what we did this morning.

The electricians were down yesterday & have nearly finished connecting up all the wiring, they also replaced a problem light with a new one in the away directors room under the main stand.
All in all, another good week.
