Seem's strange that Ken had the little bit of publicity of his times following BAFC only recently published in the EM & then this sad new's now reaches us.

I was actually shocked to learn of this news from the EM, which is perhaps a little incongruous bearing in mind the age Ken was. I suppose that's because I got the impression he was still quite active despite his age, with still driving a car and getting along to watch matches etc etc. What a supporter! I believe it was 84 years following the club; he certainly deserves a special place in the pages of Barrow AFC's history. RIP Ken and condolences to all family members and friends.

Sad news indeed. Nice he had his moment of recognition for his years of supporting the club and a lovely gesture by those who had his name plaque positioned in a reserved parking space in the entrance to the club. R.I.P. to a special gentleman.
