So Bayles is,allegedly, getting a new contract,some will agree and some will disagree but why dont we give the bloke a chance and why dont we make it easier for him by getting right behind the team next season,encouraging friends and family to come back,get some new fans in and quickly gain a reputation for the best supported club in the league.
Do you think Chester fans were happy going down?,no-they just all got together and turned up week in week out and helped the success grow and grow.Dave Bayliss has his chance,i'm hoping hes learned from his mistakes and he will have the full support of his new playing staff.The board need to play their part especially in public relations,honesty and the commercial side.The fans can and will do their bit,lets get loud--bring back the ultras or form a new group(volunteers please),we can all do our best to get the club back on its feet.
Ive dissed Bayliss,ive supported Bayliss and i'm one of the many hipocrytes on here that didnt know if they were coming or going last season---BUT--I'm Barrow thru and thru,cut me open and watch the blue blood flow out of my body,I dont want a downward spiral for BAFC,I want to enjoy going back to Holker Street,I want that feeling back on a cold Tuesday night tramping up Holker Street looking at those old floodlights ready to freeze my knackers off and shout for my team,I want to listen and chuckle to the old gits on the popular side ranting and raving their antiquated opinions,I want a manky burger,washed down with cold weak coffee with sugar lumps from the box next to the spilt milk on that knackered old table.I want Steve Newton shouting "teamsheets twenty pee",I want naff music over the pa system but most of all I want my BarrowAFC back.
Win,lose or draw dont matter,the effort,passion and committment does however.
Now that the mercenaries are gone,lets get more players in like the ilk of Paul JONES,players that care,players that wear their heart on their sleeve despite their ability.Nows your chance Mr Bayliss--the slates clean--lessons learned--a board with more focus and the best set of fans you ll ever meet.The days might be dark at the moment but if you look very closely theres a light right at the end of the tunnel thats burning bright.Bring on the new season :flag: :flag: :flag: :flag:

Personally I dont give a hoot how many chances he has had. He is not my choice. The Club have made their choice so I fully agree. Let us all one-and-all get behind the Club aka Chester and get some [searfilter] life going around this Club.

Its easy to sit here and say about getting friends/family back to Holker Street but the vast majority will only do so to watch a succesful team
