Friendship's

Post by Barrowabc » Mon May 13, 2013 4:46 pm

Don't really know in which group to stick this in ?
Well anyway here go's, been coming to the football on and off for around 25yr man and boy,
And I like to keep myself to myself, yet in all the time I've been coming I have done just that keeping myself to myself.

But over the last two to three year I find myself mixing with more people and making some good friends along the way
I would say meeting Ian 1990 and jumping aboard the ground mate area has been belting as again meeting new folk
All the time has been belting,

I don't really know what my point is other then to find out if others have been like this ?
Feels abit like a huge family in a way, cue the pops at me !

This club plays a huge part in my life and can't see that stoping any time soon, :flag: :flag:
Love many, trust afew, but always paddle your own canoe ! My spelling is gash

I have met some great lads since I was 14(6 years ) following Barrow home and away. I'd say I've met at least 15 lads who I would consider good friends and I'd like to think the feeling is mutual. Saying that I have always been going with friends from my Junior school days, Zak A.B. and the infamous Dan the Barrowfan.

I sometimes hang around with the cool kids, not sure it counts though. I reckon Stu Nips has a secret crush on me though. Always asks if I'm alright.

Reg nods to me on the way past...it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

You have intimidated me ever since the Colin Moore days on the old forum.

It takes me all my courage to just to establish eye contact with you!

Some people will speak, some you have the awkward look but don't speak as it wouldn't be cool.

That's probably just the coffee in the dodgy cups ;)

I ended up being best man & godfather to the eldest child of a bloke who just happened to the first person I grabbed/kissed when we scored in the away leg of the trophy semi at Enfield.

Have probably seen most of you on here walking past me on pop side over the years without being able to put a name to faces.Lots of familiar faces in the crowd.

I say hello and nod to more people during a home game than I do at work or anywhere else during the week.

We're just one big (dysfunctional) family really :flag:
