Thought Hulbert had a very good game, does the simple things well. Hopefully he can have an injury free season

Agreed, it would indeed be a massive boost if RH could keep fit and re-establish himself in the side. What an inspiration he would be to the ‘newcomers’, he would show them that it means something to be wearing a Barrow shirt and that 100% commitment is what’s required.

DB seems to be assembling a rather maverick team with a few ‘characters’ in the mix which I think just might be good to watch – for a change if nothing else. I’m allowing myself a degree of optimism for the forthcoming season – it must be this heat.

Hulbert has played well in all the games he's played in and took his goal brilliantly last night. Shouting on the field instructions to the younger players will help them and boost their confidence too if they know there's an experienced player to rely on. Even if he can't play a full game he will still be an asset to us.

It would be great to have hulbert back as captain if he can keep clear of injuries.
Have you ever thought what a wonderful world it would be without enthusiastic people.

Reynold's drove for 4 and a half hours yesterday to play in last night's game. When asked why he would do that his reply was because he wants to play for Barrow. How refreshing is that and what a great attitude.
Good news about Robin too. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Interesting article about the aforesaid young man here. Sounds like he would be an excellent capture though I understand he has also been on trial at Grimsby.

Is there anything you EVER post where you don't try & be sarcastic?

Get's a bit boring in the end.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

He's also rather good.

Now THAT is a valid point.
